Portable Hand Held CO2 Meter

This sensor is a very light-weight CO2 instrument with a digital display designed to measure the carbon dioxide concentration in the surrounding air. The display shows the current carbon dioxide concentration together with the 8 hours Time Weighted Average (TWA) value. Built-in data logging and alarm functions make this portable pocket size instrument perfect for personal safety applications, as well as for various industrial and laboratory use. The carbon dioxide sensor's gold-plated infra-red waveguide and diffusion membrane filter has resulted in great reliability, accuracy and long-term stability of operation.

With a battery capacity covering more than a full 8 hours working day, the pocket sized CO2 instrument works perfectly as a personal safety alarm. The LED indicators gives a quick overview over the current CO2 levels, and the audiable alarm calls for prompt attention when the short term exposure safety limit is exceeded. The 8 hrs long term TWA exposure is also monitored to check against the labours' hygienic exposure limit standard.

The unit is also ideal for measuring CO2 in greenhouses, mushroom farms, incubators etc. where correct CO2 levels are essential for the process outcome. It can also be used for diagnosing ventilation inefficiencies or distribution problems using CO2 as the surrogate ventilation index.
